Beware of the Font Bots !
Though they come from the year 2006, these letter shaped creatures created by Jonathon Yule beautifully portray his love for typography. Jonathon created these illustrations entirely built from his favortie sans-serif fonts. Helbotica t-shirts are available here.
I really like the idea of this but I think it has to be done with skill and not replicated badly. I have seen some people integrate font into their designs and it go wrong because people spend too long trying to work out what it says or how this should read
