Top 7 Logo Design Inspiration Sites
Every graphic designer needs inspiration. Here’s our top 7 of the best websites for logo & identity design inspiration. From databases to blogs we covered it all. If you like we missed out on something, or you yourself run a logo related website or blog, feel free to post a comment with your link.
1. Logopond
Definately worth its number 1 spot, logopond delivers a wide variety of logo’s from their large userbase. Along with an active logo related forum and blog logopond allows you to upload your logo’s to show off your work or for critique. Their search function works really good if you are looking for something specific and they have a very high quality ‘Featured’ section.
2. Logo Faves
Unlike our number 1, Logo Faves offers logo’s on a ’submit’ type basis. Out of these submissions they deliver a wide selection of high quality work. They have a handy rating system that does not require registration, and with those features deserve the number 2 spot in our list.
3. Logo From Dreams Awards
Every day a new logo gets awarded with a spot on the Logo From Dreams Awards website. Every month one of those wins the logo of the month award, and as you would expect all of those qualify for the logo of the year award. Definately a good, daily updated source of inspiration.
4. David Airey’s Blog
David Airey is a graphic designer with a vast website including a very informative blog with articles on graphic design which along with his own logo design portfolio earns him the 4th spot on our list. The link brings your directly to the logo design category on his blog.
5. Logo Design Love
As if one fantastic blog wasn’t enough, David Airey couldn’t help but create a whole different website devoted to nothing but logo design. Regularly updated logo design news, enough said…
6. Brand New
Brand new is a blog by underconsideration.com bringing you their opinions on everything related to logo’s and corporate identity work with daily news and active commenting.
7. Logo Lounge
Last on our list is Logolounge. They have a huge user created database and if you are lucky, your work can be selected to be in their anually published Logolounge book. The catch however is that it’s not free. Membership costs you an annual fee of $100 and because we are supporting free inspirational resources but do not want to leave logolounge out, they come in last on our list.
User Submitted Links
It’s inevitable that we are going to miss out on some quality sites, so feel free to post a comment with a link to your favorite logo inspiration source and i’ll post it here.

Frankly speaking I’m not impressed with the logos provided. I can give you some URLs with better designs.

Hello,
I found your blog/site quiet interesting and was wondering if I could get a text link for the keyword “logo design” in one of your blog posts. I have a budget of $20-25 and if this is something to interest you, please let me know so I can make arrangements. I can pay you via PayPal today.
Thank you and have a great day.
